Personalized + generated games

In an experiment related to my life tracker, I used my tracker's data to generate a gameboy-style RPG. It takes all of my notes and creates characters, obstacles, and puzzles based on my life.

It's Very Art School Project, but surprisingly fun. Both the personalized elements and just having an open world to explore with nostalgic vibes. I've been waiting for world models like Genie or whatever OpenAI is cooking up, but there's a lot of potential to create lo-fi immersive experiences today.

In my opinion, the community and lore around these worlds will end up being much more important than the fidelity. Sure, I will eventually be able to generate any environment I want, but I'm not confident that will be the fun part.

On a more meta-level, I'm also noticing games are a good forcing function for thinking about UX in a deeper way than I usually do.
